Serial engineer-entrepreneur and robotics with experience in control systems, embodied AI, and next-gen automation. Formerly led global partnerships and product expansion at Quanser, deploying advanced mechatronics and controls systems across academia, research, and industry. Mr. Ray applies his technical background to support strategic capital allocation across the humanoid robotics ecosystem, encompassing hardware, software, and enabling technologies.

Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, leading the Active and Interactive Robotics Lab. Associate VP of the Robotics and Automation Society Members Activities Board. Research interests include physical-social human-robot interaction, collaborative robots, humanoid robots, privacy and cybersecurity in robotics, and optimal control.

Dr. Armin is a Lecturer in the School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering at Simon Fraser University (SFU), with over a decade of combined academic and industry experience in robotics, manufacturing, and mechanical simulation. His work spans finite element modeling, dynamic systems, actuator development, and smart materials.

Mr. Spencer is an experienced Investor–operator and former Partner at TELUS Global Ventures with a focus on category-defining technology platforms that improve safety, mobility, and resilience. Career highlights include Multiple exits (VMware, Entrust, Planet Labs, IMS, Splunk, Alactel-Lucent) and executing 50+ deals in the US, CAN, AU and UK with ranges from $10M to $350M. He has served on 10 board roles and has executed deep-tech investments and exits in AI, quantum and radar. Spencer holds his CFA, MBA and is a Professional Engineer in NY State.

Mr. Vincent has served as a member of Serve’s Board since July 2023. He co-founded and has served as Chief Executive Officer of Autozen Technology Ltd., a marketplace start-up in the automobile world, since March 2020. Prior to joining Autozen, Mr. Vincent served as Chief Executive Officer of Spliqs, an AI technology company. He previously served as President of WeatherBug, a weather application. Mr. Vincent has also served on the Board of Wishpond Technologies Ltd., a Canadian public company traded on the TSX (OTCMKTS: WPNDF), since December 2020. Mr. Vincent holds a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Techniques Avancées Paris and a Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship from Hautes Etudes Commerciales Paris.

Mr. Farid is the CEO of Formic Technologies Inc. and brings extensive global investment experience in AI and robotics. He previously led Baidu Ventures’ global investment fund and founded Comet Labs, an AI-focused fund and incubator. He has backed more than 40 companies across robotics, computer vision, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and space technologies, with a focus on emerging technologies transforming industry.
